The Jim Bender for US Senate campaign is calling for another televised debate with the four major candidates vying for the Republican nomination in the New Hampshire US Senate race.
Jim Bender for US Senate campaign manager Beth Lindstrom says, “The voters deserve more. Last night’s debate was simply not enough time for voters to meet the candidates. When you break it down, the candidates had less than ten minutes each. This election is pivotal to the future of our state and our country. The voters need a final opportunity to see the candidates together, and we agree completely. We need to have a two hour televised debate with the four major candidates, Kelly Ayotte, Ovide Lamontagne, Bill Binnie and Jim Bender, so voters can be informed on all the issues.”
Carolyn Choate, Program Manager at TV13 in Nashua has already said she has available time on Monday evening to air such a debate. We are certain there will be no shortage of concerned citizens who will step up to make sure this debate takes place and the voters’ interests are protected.
