Jim Bender, Republican candidate for US Senate appears in today's Portsmouth Herald to respond to Congressman Paul Hodes support of a ban on offshore drilling.
"Congressman Hodes is missing something important here," Bender said in response. "Even though there wasn't an oil spill in New Hampshire to bring this issue to national attention, the fishermen in New England are hurting."
Bender also attacked Hodes ability to lead and stated his solutions to problems are "always more government, more regulation, and more taxes."
"We need less of all three," he added.
